A question about thermostats in general - but how they work with Comcast Home Security specifically. Sometimes my AC / heater will continue to run even after the desired temperature is reached. I can understand that if it stops immediately when reaching the desired temperature, then after a few minutes it would need to start again because the room temperature would then rise / fall and kick it back on. I assume that the thermostat runs past the desired temperature by a certain amount before turning off. However, I've seen mine as much as 2 degrees beyond the desired temp and still running. Can this threshold level be set to a half-degree or one degree?
