We got the Home security in June we had to have it taken out with in 6 months due to the fact we live near a Army base that has a training area were they blast with the tanks and all the artilary. And it shakes our home. Comcast did not research the area, we were the only ones in the area and the system kept having issues we had 12 service calls. The dorr chimes would go off when no one was nearthe doors. Because the vibrations from the blast would make the window rattle. And at some times you could hear the beams in the attic pop and creak. And it also so messing with the cellular service her and that is how the service works is through cellular towers. They agreed to take the system, due to the fact that it would not work because of the interference. The key chain activator would not even set right in front of the main screen. 

We have ask for a partial refund of the activation fee due to the fact we did nothing wrong and the system did not work properly.  And because Comcast did not research the area to make sure to would work to make it available to the customers. They refuse to give a refund and want to keep our money for services that did not work. $300 for the install we paid and they feel they should keep it.  If we had done something that caused it not to work then yes it would be right, but we had no idea it would have interference from the blasting of the army. And the blast go one at least 6-8 months out of the year, so there is no reason to keep a system that could not do us any good. We wanted it to have protection of our family and home. And if it can not be monitored then it is no good to us.  When you are sleep and you hear a blast at 2 am then the door chimes keep chiming and no one there all you hear for a minute or so is ding ding ding. Because the vibration caused it to go off.  And when there is clouds in the area the blast are louder and strong here because it can not go up the clouds push the sound and vibrations down and out. TO ME COMCAST IS TRYING TO RIP US OFF. WE DID NOT EVEN ASK FO THE FULL ABOUT OF THE INSTALL BACK JUST PART OF IT BACK. A ASSOCIATE THERE AT COMCAST FIGURED IT UP AND HE THOUGHT WE SHOULD GET AT LEAST $225 OF IT BACK AND WAS TO SUMIT IT TO HIS SUPERVISOR AND WAS TO CALL US BACK NEVER GOT THE CALL BACK. AND I HAVE CALLED 6 TIMES AND 4 OUT OF THE 6 I WAS HUNG UP ON WHEN IT GOT TO THE HOME SECURITY DEPT. THEY PICKED UP AND COULD HEAR THEM THEN THEY WOULD HANG UP AS I WAS SAYING HELLO HELLO. STILL AFTER 2 MONTHS NOTHING. ONCE I WAS TOLD AS SOON AS THEY HAD PICKED UP THEIR EQUIPMENT WE WOULD GET A REFUND. THEY HAVE IT AND NO REFUND. THAT WAS FROM A SUPERVISOR. COMCAST ARE GREEDY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMER JUST WANT MONEY. THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL.
