DESCRIPTION
I've had Xfinity Home for one month and experienced two false alarms triggered by one of the motion sensors while in the Armed Away mode. I discovered on the Xfinity Home app that motion detector values are provided. The detector in question showed 32 degrees, 0.00 volts, and N/A for signal strength.
I tried doing a live chat on the Home support website and one of the first questions was, "Have you tried reinstalling the Home app?" Knowing the Home app has nothing to do with a malfunctioning sensor generating false alarms, I ended the discussion thinking I could find a solution faster than someone reading computer-prompted questions.
SOLUTION
I opened the sensor and removed/reinstalled the battery. The sensor now shows 79 degrees, 2.90 volts, and signal strength of 100%. I'll try using the Armed Away mode again and hope for no more false alarms.
If anyone who has more knowledge with this can add anything, please post a response. Thanks!
