Comcast, your outdoor cameras (which are not really outdoor cameras) provide lovely pictures of my neighborhood, and that is all they can do. You need to add software to your system that senses motion within the pixels of the video image itself (actually pretty complicated software but available off-the-shelf). My guess is that as far as I've seen with this company, any chance of that happening before the end of the world is not likely.
Other customers, if you can handle terminating cat5 jacks, then do what I'm gonna do, move the outdoor cameras inside so you can record clips when your doors open......
Comcast if you get this, you need to GET this!
At this point in time I should have known better than to have a cable company do a security company's job. See if you can change that opinion sooner than later.........
