Xfinity promotes their Home security system! System nothing more than glorified monitoring system. Especially where video monitoring is concerned. 6 camera limit and 15 second clips is ridiculous. Would only provide security surveillance if the thief broke into your home and exited the premises within a 15 seconds of alarm. Then your outdoor cameras might catch a glimpse of your property leaving your residence. Indoor camera only useful if thief made it into camera range within 15 seconds from alarm.
Problem could be easily remedied by allowing extended video clips (I.E - 2 minutes but only in actual alarm situation) or allow more than 6 cameras. Better yet - offer motion detection cameras ( Like ADT) which would only be activated in an actual alarm event). I realize Xfinity will probably never read this review - I just wanted to vent! VERY FRUSTRATING
