I just ran a test of my system and the monitoring company called to say they received an alarm. I asked if they could tell if it was a test or not, they apparently can not so they they suggested to call them in advance of a system test so they can ignore the alarms. Then call them back when you are done to have them turn off the ignore. Nowhere in Comcasts information does it mention any of this, only that you can disable messages to Central Monitoring during testing. Why would you want to do that? You must test the monitoring feeds. You should add a blurb to your testing page to call the monitoring company in advance (with their phone number on the page) if you are leaving the Alarm Test messaging active.
