Security Cameras

We have xfinity home with two exterior cameras. Xfinity installed the cameras with the power cords visible on our stucco and I'm concerned that all a burglar would need to do is cut that power code to deactivate the camera. Any insight on this? Also, I have my cameras set to take pictures every 10 minutes at night and I get an email only 2 hours in saying I reached my max images. Does this mean the camera is no longer taking pictures or that they are just not stored on my portal? Given the $$ of this service, I'm pretty disappointed if that's the case.

One final question that's on a slightly different topic, ever since we installed xfinity home, the Internet on our room is dead slow. We have had 2 Comcast techs come out and it seems to be fixed for an hour and always reverts back. Our house is only 1100 sq/ ft. We have tried an extender, connecting a second router and disabling xfinity wifi spot but nothing has helped. Any assistance would be appreciated.
