The Comcast tech told me the motion sensor is active when armed away is set along with all the door and window sensors and that we could use it even with the dog in the house in case an intruder came in through an unprotected window.
So we were out to lunch with the alarm set to Armed Away and the alarm was set off about an hour into our visit. Got it stopped in time and didn't have a police visit.................we were told that the motion sensors had evolved to the point that having a 60 lb dog in the house would definitely not set them off. Wrong.
Any input would be appreciated.
