So, I'm not 100% clear on how this light controller works.
When it was xmas, my tree was plugged into 1 light controller and I was able to turn on/off my tree without any issues. This light controller is in my living room and I also have 1 in a bedroom.
Here is where I got confused cause I thought the one in the bedroom controlled the fan light. Do I have to plug a lamp into the light controller? Does the lamp have to be on in order for me to control turning it on/off from the touchscreen? I tried this by plugging in a lamp and turning it on, then trying to turn it on/off using the touchscreen, but no luck.
I wasn't at the house when my system got installed, so I couldn't ask questions and I guess my roomate didn't pay attention to the light controller part, so she can't tell me how it actually works. Grr!
