Xfinity Home System lost connection......5 service visits in 6 months?!?

Has anyone had reoccurring issues every month or so where the connection from the security router to the touchscreen is lost / cameras lose connection. We go through the reboot, unplug, stand on one leg while touching your nose and you still have to call in and give your DNA, check this and that and then end up having them come out to wave a magic wand and spread fairy dust around the house and never explain the root cause and what they did to resolve or how to fix it ourselves / prevent it from happening again?!? The last visit lasted over 2 hours and he replaced the main router, the security router and added a plug in booster device for the scurity router after moving it to another room.  This will be the 5th trip in 6 months..............
