I spoke with the tech regarding this and if you purchased the inside/outside camera it technically does have a motion sensor inside of it but currently Comcast has disabled it while they work out the kinks in the software.
It technically is possible to hack it and activate it, this is beyond the scope of this forum...however there are plans (from my understanding) where Comcast will possibly activate this in the near future.
So have some patience and cross your fingers
