In need of a company that actually cares about existing customers

Hello,

I truly hope this email is able to make it up to somehwere that will actually matter. I became a new customer a little over  year ago and was paying about $110 after tax for the internet and tv. I was extremely happy with this as I know not many can compare to comcast internet speeds. Well sure enough several months in my bill jumped to $150 and I told myself, "That's getting pretty high I need to call them and see if there is anything that can be done. Well needless to say I procrastinated and never called but now just last month it jumped to over $200! I am paying over $200 for just the starter TV and internet service. I kid you not, it is a complete outrage and I called to see if we could lower it and she was talking about cutting so much of my services and channels. Not even HD or DVR or the simple starter package with MTV and my bill could only get cut down to $125. I promise I am not exaggerating. I talked to her about possibly just getting a plan and treated as a new customer as I pay loyally on time and she told me I wasn't eligible for a package for 6 months. It angers me to go from having awesome services for just $110 to cutting everything down and still having over $125 a month to pay! Instead of having plans that are too good to be true maybe you should focus on keeping existing customers. By having the plans go up and up within a year you are subjecting your employee to so much stress by having to deal with upset customers like me and will lose the stereotype of having crappy customer service. 

 

I lost it and told them to come pick up the boxes. It just doesn't make sense to me financially how a company doesn't care to retian their existing customers. The lines are already ran so there is barely any cost to them for my personal instance. I just don't understand how a company won't work with me on the bill and instead just not recieve any income from me.

 

So now I am going to AT&T where I know the customer service is just as garbage like and probably have a high bill in 12 months as well. So if anyone in the Jacksonville area has any recommendations on a company that cares about customers please provide me with some insight as I feel trapped by this monolopy but to say the least AT&T will be getting my money for the next 12 months instead of comcast! In the end everyone just ends up mad and unhappy between your employees that have to deal with this and customers that ultimately end up jumping ship.

 

Sucks I have to settle for such nonsense! (had to edit this a couple times to "clean" it up, must happen often)
