Interestingly, all three of the previous replies are correct, yet confusing to interpret. You have a renaming problem for two different types of equipment: 1) a camera, which is a "device" as per Xfinity (and not a "zone/sensor"), and 2) one or more infrared sensor(s) (a "light sensor" as you have called it), which is a "zone/sensor" as per Xfinity. So, your light (infrared) sensor(s) is(are) ZONE/SENSOR(s), and your camera is a DEVICE. Cable guy is correct in that only a technician can rename a ZONE/SENSOR. However, you can rename a camera with either the touchscreen or the website by choosing "Settings", then choosing "Home Devices" (NOT "Zone/Sensors"), and then "Cameras". As for your sensor problem, I suspect you might be able to have a technician rename the infrared sensors over the phone, rather than paying for a home service call. But one never knows these days!
