Hi Comcast Trent, ...and Comcast Rachel, Irene, etc...

 

OK, but you also need to tell the folks here, that even after eliminating the old Netgear NR1100 wireless routers, and after connecting your Touchscreen to your X2 or X3 Cable Modem, you STILL end up having a "wireless connection" to and from the Touchscreen to to Cable Modem !!!  That's how mine is and they removed the old clunky Netgear wireless router from my system too.

 

However !!!  Then go in and do a signal and/or connectivity test and you will at the Touchscreen STILL see a Wireless WI-FI Signal being detected !!!  As of right now, there is now 4th choice as you know Trent for setting up the Touchpad directly to Port-4 on the Cable Modem and using all hardwired Cat-5 connections !!!

 

I'm just finding our 11-1/2 months later after having my XH System that there is also a 64 Zigbee Device limit in this current Touchscreen !!!

 

You Comcast Techs need to be more up front and honest with us consumers !!!  Take time here and EXPLAIN all of this with the forum useers here !!!  Not enough time to ???  Then ask Mr. Comcast for a Freakin' raise and treat us right !!!  We are NOT Farm Animals !!!

 

Ask the Level-3 Techs to see if they can write a Firmware upgrade for a choice in the Touchscreen to force it to go totally Hardwired and also write it to accommodate more than 64 Zigbee Sensors !!!

 

It's amazing that I hear more in outside chat or from high up Comcast Executives more so than in your own Comcast website or user forum !!!

 

Come on already !!! - bring us new Touchscreen that will allow over 64 Zigbee Devices in total in the system and for God’s Sake !!! - PLEASE bring us 24/7 Cloud Camera RECORDING !!!

 

You guys are seriously falling behind the times or just not able to keep up with it !!!  Either stay in the Home Security and Home Automation Business in FULL 100% - or get out all together !!!

 

Also, I'm sure I won't be happy with the way your so-called future 3rd party automation venders and the way that your stuff will marry-in with their components !!!

 

Please don't give us the "Works With XFINITY Home" spiel either !!!

 

And your Android Mobile App STILL sucks trying to keep cameras live in it !!!  BUFFER AWAY !!!  And come on with the Login Timeout issues !!!  If the thieves take my entire Smartphone, I'll simply track it and delete all data on it !!!  GOOGLE - Find my Phone App !!!  OMG !!!  Get with it !!!

 

Check this out folks !!!  Educate yourself !!!  Comcast never will to this extent !!!

Sorry, you can tell after about a year, I too feel like I am in "PARTNERED WITH COMCAST" mode and I too feel like their Guinea Pig for their own trial and errors and for the... lets Swap-out Equipment Game ~ until we get it right !!! 

 

The Techs are coming here again this Friday.  Lets see if they can straighten their mess out and can make me happy again !!!  Quad Play at almost $300.00 a month should certainly provide me with BETTER EVERYTHING from Comcast !!!  You just want your Comcast stuff to work around the clock 24/7 when your giving them like a car payment every month !!!  Jeez !!!  Smiley Sad
