Re: Our Xfinity Home touch panel had apps on it that have suddenly disappeared. We haven't lost power any idea what might have happened?

No - I never did get the e-mails from Comcast about them dropping the Apps from the Touchscreen, so thanks for the heads-up !!!  I'll miss them, but I understand, to keep the system stable and fast!
 
Now - I just wish my "OCD" had 1 more App Icon to FILL the screen - if you know what I mean !!!  It's 1 Icon short of doing that now and it looks weird without it on my end !!!  Is there something that could be put there ???

I just found out tonight myself as well.  They did say they sent out an e-mail, but I never got one...  This is the reply from Tech Support from earlier tonight...

 

On February 2nd, the below apps which includes “Word of the Day”  were removed from the touch screen in an effort to improve response time for touch screen controllers.  You should have received notification on 01/27 by email and again and another notice sent on 02/02 as well.  Apologize you didn’t receive.

  • Sudoku
  • Word of the Day
  • XFINITY Voice
