Re: What is the delay from smoke detector going off and whole alarm going off?

You have offered ZERO real help, only pointless comments which are NOT valid. Steam does make it go off, again BOILING water causes the alarm to go off, and no other sensor RIGHT next to it has this problem.

Once again you completely IGNORE THE FACT that my problem is their IS ABSOLUTLY NO WAY TO DISABLE THE ALARM once it goes off without the pin. THEIR IS NO WAY TO STOP THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND POLICE from being sent.  You will not find a SINGLE smoke alarm on the market that requires a password to silent, not a single one that request a password to stop the police and firefighters from comming. Once the smoke or steam is no longer detected the alarm to silent it self, but it doesn't, only the pin and a call from comcast can stop it.

You have offered zero help in dealing with this problem.
