I spent an hour on the phone last night with a tech that did not know what he was talking about - had me run a million tests, even though I already knew the problem. After all that, he could only suggest scheduling a repair.
During the storms we have had recently here in Houston and many power outages, my touchscreen lost connection with the Netgear wifi router. I know the router is working and does not need resetting as I can see it as a WiFi option on my Ipad. So I just need to reset the factory setting on the touchscreen to reconnect it with the router. I click Settings, put in the "secret code" 4 3 2 1, but then it asks for another code and I get stuck there.
Can I get some help? I do not have time to schedule a repair guy to come to the house. I know the security is still working, so it is no emergency, however, I would like to be able to set and unset the security system remotely from my phone.
