We have Xfinity home for our house and our detached garage (which is about 25 feet away from our house)since last August. We have had nothing but problems with the sensors in the garage since installation!!!
Our alarm went off today for the second time in two weeks and the fourth time since the beginning of the year. The first time, we were out of town on vacation and had our camera pointed at the garage door, and we could clearly see that the garage door was closed!!! A technician came out after that incident and the "solution" was to move the key pad further away from our front door (and thus further away from the garage sensor) and about 4 feet closer to the modem. Seemed to me like a STUPID idea at the time, but hey, who am I to say...the technician is supposed to be able to fix this stuff, right? So...fast forward to today....the alarm goes off AGAIN...it is the garage AGAIN...the police get called AGAIN before we even get a chance to respond and call off the dogs...
When I call tech support, they want to remotely troubleshoot. I am AT WORK...I am NOT going home...I want a technician out to my house AGAIN to FIX THIS!!! If not...I want out of my contract - and I might even mean the whole bundle...not just Xfinity Home. How do I get this fixed???????????
