Hi. I've had a problem several times where the thermostat doesn't turn the furnace off after reaching the set temperature. I have hot-water heat which keeps heating up the house for a while after turning it off, but this is a thermostat malfunction I believe. I had the thermostat set for 68° and set to HOLD the temperature. I just noticed that the house felt a bit warm and looked and the temperature is now 74.5. I turned off the thermostat and checked and the furnace did go off.
I'm considering putting my old thermostat back in place as it had more features, just not remote programability. Has anyone else enountered a similar problem?
