I don't think that you can get it waived. I had the same issue with it going off in the middle of the night saying it was a tampering, but no one was bothering it. They sent a tech out, he said he fixed it but it started back up again a couple of nights after so I had them come out and give me a new touch screen and haven't had that issue again. Have you tried that?
