For the third time, we have found that if power is interrupted the system does not reset itself. This is a serious flaw in the home security system. When this happens, there is no notification sent by phone or other means to send an alert that the system is not armed. So, the design of the system means that for most people, this system is not reliable for security purposes. Comcast help personnel are nice, and try to be helpful, but I was told that there was no person in management who would answer a call about the selling of an unreliable system. The contract is worded such that there is no way to early terminate and save very much. Might as well continue the monthly cost of the monitoring service. That said, we are so mad at Comcast that we are about to pay the early termination fee simply to stop sending any more to Comcast, and the related taxes. Wish we had checked some of the review sites before signing a contract with Comcast.
