Sounds like you have made a good attempt to work this out on your own. Can I ask if you have tried to delete all rules associated with the lighting controller from the Subscriber Portal and then see if the controller still turns on or off by itself?  Note the times when the lighting controller is acting independently to get a good idea of what's going on and when, and then cont. forward by contacting Comcast. I hope you can get this one resolved.
