Thermostat/smoke/water sensor

I called Comcast a few minutes ago to have a second thermostat, a smoke detector and a water sensor added to my system. I was told that the smoke detector was not available and that the thermostat and the water detector were ONLY available for installation by a Comcast tech, these devices were not available for self install. Last January when Comcast installed the present system they burned up my circulator valve in the heating system by wiring it wrong, why would I want them to do it again? Annoyed and not wanting to get upset with the agent I asked for her supervisor, I had to ask her 5 times for a supervisor before she finally transfered me to someone who said they were not her supervisor and could not explain why it took my asking 5 times before I reached him. He not only told me he could not explain why it took 5 times but also told me there was no one in the world that could.

 

That's good customer service?
