Ok so i Hanne the cameras with my xfinity home system. They lag really bad like 3 to 8 seconds on the tablet that comes with the system. Pretty dead on with the app though. So i had a situation where i wanted my camera across the yard to watch some baby chick's. I had to hook it up to an extention cord because it was 45 feet away from an outlet. Well when plugged into an extension cord no lag at all on the tablet. Brought it back in cause it was no longer needed out there and plugged in directly it lags again? So i thought I'd test it with an extension cord and sure enough it doesn't lag on the tablet anymore? Tested it several ways and outlets all with the same result. Is the camera getting to much wattage out to many volts plugged in directly? It is on an adapter that goes from 110v regular power outlet to ethernet adaptor that powers and runs the camera through only ethernet wire. ? I have a different camera system that works the same way. Ethernet only connection but it's connecting to an nvr. Any ideas other than use an extension cord?
