COMACAST PROCLAIMS TO HAVE QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE - Yea RIGHT!

I cannot tell you how frustrated I am with your Company. Promises, Promises, and yet no delivery!

 

So lets get to the recent events and then we will go backwards.

I moved into my new home in May of this year. I had Comcast come into my home. I kept ALL my old equipment because I had to ask, as in the past I had to pack it all up and take it to a store.

 

Everything was installed, this time. I signed YET another 2 year agreement for HOME Security. Was offered, AGAIN the "Security Camera". If you know your products, you would know that by Definition that is NOT a security camera, but a SPY CAM.

 

So the technician takes my old (security) tablet back, and guess what happens, COMCAST thinks now I want to shut my home security off. So they shut it off. I had NO knowledge, no warning. I had still believed that my security system was fully functional. EXCEPT the "Spy Cam", because I have NO need to spy on my fish!

 

I needed to reduce some costs. I call COMCAST early this month to see what I can eliminate, reduce to lower my bill. AT THIS time I find out that my home security was shut off. And that I was going to see an early termination fee on my account. PERFECT! Again, I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS!

 

I cannot modify my account due to the ETF being applied to my account. So I have to WAIT until a technician comes to my home to activate it.

 

Two weeks, I wait, with still almost $700.00 on my account because it was COMCAST that messed up.

 

Today a tech shows up. Has NO CLUE what was needed to fix the situation. (SECOND TIME IN TWO YEARS THIS HAS TAKEN PLACE). I have my roommate here for the tech to JUST activate my security. NOPE, he says, this is an install. NO it was NOT an install. This was ONLY an activation. So he replaces ALL the equipment except the touch pad. My room mate signed off on the WORKORDER that he was here and completed his job.

 

I get in the email, A NEW CONTRACT that starts today! NO NO NO, I moved here in May and THAT is when my contract is SUPPOSED to start. Here is the BEST Part! SOME ONE ELSE SIGNED IT. And it was NOT my room mate. It was FORGED! My Signature is FORGED on your contract. Now, as it sits, that contract is NULL and VOID with a FORGED signature on it.

 

I have been on the phone ALL day trying to get this resolved. 13 people, 7 phone calls, and NO ONE CARES if I die today. Charge the customer, laugh at the customer. REALLY? I have been in IT and CUSTOMER Service for 30 years. This is NO way to treat a customer. This is BY FAR the WORST customer service I have EVER received. I was promised call backs. NEVER happened. LIES, LIES LIES, just like the "SECURITY CAMERA". Folks across the US are installing these camera believing these are true security cameras and not just SPY CAMS. Some one WILL get an understanding of this and will come back to COMCAST. If they don't I WILL!!!

 

I year ago, I moved into my apartment. It took three (3) techs to install all of my equipment. The first didn't install (then what I believed was a security camera). I called back to have it installed. That Tech had NO CLUE as to why he was there. And when I told him, he first told me he would call me in the next 24 hours to come back with I needed because he didn't have it on his truck. The third showed up, with equipment, but BLASTED COMCAST. Knocking Comcast down. Telling me how bad things were. Told me ALL about the famous Camera. He even said to me customers will be in for a shock when they go to retrieve the recordings. I was charged for ALL three services.

 

Ok, I want and set rate for my services. $175.00 a month. I'm NOT going any where for some time. I have to have internet as I work for the Veterans Affairs here in Pittsburgh, PA. I work from home a lot.

 

I want 1 free year of Home Security Services.

 

I want 1 year on the contract.

 

Again, I have spent SO much time on the phone with COMCAST (APROX 40 hours). My stress and anxieties have GONE through the roof! NO ONE WILL HELP ME!

 

I will take this FORGED Contract to the authorities, and I will follow up with something about the camera. OR we work something out. COMCAST Will not get away with treating a customer like this. I do not want any premium channels, i REFUSE to accept another offer of a FREE "Security Camera", which I have been offered many times now.

 

PLEASE HELP!
