I'll abridge this and spare the annoying details.
1. Installed approx 5 days ago
2. Relocated an IP camera from one room to another and reboot the supported gateway
3. Gateway would not power back on. Went through ALL standard TS. ( removed coax/power and restored coax/power. Reset to factory defaults.. etc. Unit was DOA. )
4. Called Comcast and set-up a TC for the following day
5. Modem was replaced by a technician, however was told this modem does not support home security.
6. My Xfinity Home system's IP cameras are still down and not working and apparently the tablet that comes w/ the system cannot be paired to the new wi-fi because of some stupid f'ing restrictions.
7. Comcast has a TC set-up over 5 days out.
So can some Comcast rep tell me how the H3LL to pair my tablet to the new wifi as a work-around for the interim? Or am I expected to receive and alert via the 4G LTE when someone breaks in and have ZERO evidence on who did it? I didn't get this DANG system to be told when I was being robbed but when AND WHO is doing it! This issue is unacceptable. Either instruct me how to fix it, send a tech SOONER or I'll kindly set-up a system of my own that doesn't lock me out and assumes I'm some kind of dummy.
