Same experience here. I bought a switch and attached the router to it ( = "behind my router"). The switch isn't necessary; I just needed more places to plug things in. I do believe Comcast has informed their installation folks that putting their router first is no longer required. Regardless, I've had no problems with my internet service speed with the Home Security router in it's current configuration.
