Xfinity Thermostat wiring problem

I am trying to replace an old LUX DH2120 thermostat with the Xfinity "Centralite HA" thermostat. No matter how I wire it, when I turn the system on, I get "heat", no cooling.

My available wires are Red (From R on LUX to the jumpered pair RC RH on Centralite), Green fan control (to G on both units), Y1 (from Y on LUX to Y1 on Centralite), O (from O on the LUX to Y2/O  on Centralite) and W2 (from W2 on LUX to W2 ib Centralite). On the LUX there is an E wire (for the emergency strip heaters which can be manually switched on) which I did not connect to the Centralite.

The fan control works appropriately, manually and auto, so no doubt G and R are connected correctly. It seems that when I call for Heat or Cool, I always get Heat. If I run the heat demand way up, the strip heaters appear to kick in, so I think the W2 auxiliary heat is wired correct.

I moved the "O" wire form Y2/O to W1/B, but it did not seem to help.

Any suggestions appreciated
