This is the second time this has happened to me:
I made an XFinity Home service appointment for a certain day and time, then received an email with the subject line "Confirmation email: here are the changes you requested" with a different appointment day and time a few days later. I did NOT request any changes as the originally scheduled day was the one I requested time to take off from work for to wait for the technician.
Is this a programming error in Comcast's scheduling system - or does someone at Comcast think its customers won't mind automatic changes and can just take any days off for an appointment? Why are appointments being changed after a different appointment was confirmed via phone and/or chat?
