On the back of the keypad is a tab, called the "tamper switch" that is pushed when fully seated on the wall cradle. To pair, follow easy steps:
1. Remove BOTH batteries
2. Depress tamper switch (hold down)
3. Install ONE battery (doesn't matter what slot)
4. Watch the front of keypad, lights will come on, and in about 2 seconds release the tamper switch (MUST BE RELEASED BEFORE THE GREEN LIGHT GOES OFF)
If done correctly, the wifi symbol on bottom left will begin to flash, you are now in pairing mode (aka defaulted)
Once the touch screen sees the new keypad, it wants you to "trigger" the device. Just depress and release the tamper switch (about one second)
And if all goes well, your done! Name it and put the other battery in.
