I orginally scheduled an installation for today several weeks ago. I told the scheduler that we already had a system and this would be a take over. She said that was no problem and scheduled it for today. I called last Tuesday to confirm and ask about premium TV services and was told that the installation scheduled was not scheduled as a take over but as a new installation. The woman I talked to assured me (after 90 minutes on the phone) that everything was resolved. She said that she had also converted this to a Triple Play which should have been done in the beginning and would save me money. She told me that someone would be here last Thursday night between 4 - 6 to evaluate the current system and the installation was rescheduled as a take over for today at the same time as the original appointment. I thanked her for straightening things out and was thankful I was connected with her (after 3 transfers). Big surprise...no one showed up on Thursday night. I did get a confirmation phone call on Friday morning that someone would be here on Saturday. The very nice technician arrived on time and politely told me that he was here to install a new system and not do a 'take over'. That would take much more time and different equipment was needed. So once again it has been rescheduled for next Thursday which means using a vacation day. So far I am less than pleased with Comcast service. Glad there is a 30 day trial because one more problem and I am done.
