RF signals weak (cellular, wifi, zigbee) inside and outside my home. Making my recent acquisition of Xfinity Home Security unreliable, frustrating, stressing me, COMCAST and hardware/software.
My home has become a "test lab" of technology (I invite COMCAST to partner with me). So what is my issue/point besides understanding home networks?
How Does That TouchScreenController really work (NOT the manual, installers or service reps can explain).
I favor "hard wiring where/when practical" verus RF. Thus I am going to experiment with connecting (ethernet) from Comcast's TG1682 Modem/Router Port-2 -> switch/hub -> TouchScreenController.
Of course this will NOT solve the poor connectivity with sensors, cameras (future devices).
And don't get me started on cellarur.
Thanks for Listening
