Re: Current Issues with Xfinity Home Mobile App & Subscriber Portal.

Rachel, the touchscreen at my house went offline 3 days ago aparently due to this problem, and remains inaccessible. I am away from the house for the next 5 weeks and have just had a very frustrating online chat with support who says the only solution is to have a tech come out to the house, whcih is impossible becuase I am not there for 5 weeks.

 

Is there any way to remotely reboot the touchscreen or whatever it takes to get it online again? I presume not as it is offline, but this highlights yet another serious weakness in the xfinity home service: it's when I'm not at the house that I want it to work reliably.

 

At least I can still access my Arlo cameras and Nest thermostats which don't rely on the shaky Xfinity service.

 

Please advise.
