Re: disable beep

When the touchscreen is beeping it is indicating something is not quite right.  This could be:
Low Batteries

Zone Communication Failure

Network Communication Failure

The best step to take initially is to check the touchscreen.  If there is an error reported, that will determine the steps that need taken to resolve the issue.

For all issues (even battery indicating low), the first step:
Reboot the touchscreen:

1 - Go to settings

2 - Enter master pin code (4 digit pin code, typically the one used to arm and disarm)

3 - Choose 'Advanced Settings'

4 - Select 'Reboot'

5 - Select 'Reboot' again

6 - Enter the master pin code one more time to authorize the reboot

7 - The system will be back (typically) in about 2-3 minutes

If the error still displays, the issue is not resolved.  At this point, if it is a battery indication - it will need to be replaced.  If it is network, the router and/or modem/wireless gateway will need power cycled.  Finally, if it is zone communication, try opening and closing the zone.  If all of this does not solve the issue, a technician will be needed.
