Because your Home Securiry service do not work as advertised. I have had your service for 12 mos in our vaca house and I have been "down" more than a dozen times over the past yr. Whether it be that your app (portal or smart phone) doesn't work or the cameras don't work or tstats keep going into ecosaver mode (even though ice called 3x telling you to shut this off). I have the same system from your competitor in my primary house over the same period (ADT) and we have had NOT one single problem with the system over the past year. Lastly, 50% of your phone techs are not well trained and the people you have in the field have the same problem (it's a gamble on the quality of their knowledge on who shows up). I am still w/out camera functions for the last two weeks, despite have been on phone with you guys 5x over the period as well as had a tech come out the other day, saying he can't fix has to be fixed by corporate and that corporate would be calling me w/in 24hrs to have fixed (that was 3 days ago, nobody has followed up). Terrible service.
