Xfinity Home Reps are Stating that there is not a 12-month manufacturer's warranty

I just got off of a one hour call with Comcast over a malfuntioning door sensor which is only 8 months old. I was under the impression that it was covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty, especially being that unless it is marked and stated with the term "as is" then it legally comes with an "implied warranty" per government laws and regulations (which I found on a gov. website) and state law in all 50 states. Instead, I was told that I had to pay an extra $5/month, on top of the $250 I already pay, to cover my security equipment since it is more than 30 days old. I have had issue after issue with all of my services for as long as I have had Comcast. I'm fed up and am now looking to file a First Class Action lawsuit against them for bait and switch and for operating under false terms. If anyone would like to join me, please private message me through this forum.

Thanks,

Michelle
