If anyone is having issues having their security system work....we moved in July. At that time, all services (including security) were moved to our new house. The installers didn't install a critical piece of equipment for the security system to work (modem). the system would "test" right but a period of time later would disconnect from the internet and not be active. I had called to troubleshoot a few times and got tired of "resetting" the system which would work until it got kicked off the internet again. Finally I called to cancel my service since I couldn't use it anyway, they finally sent a tech out and he told me "my sensors had quit working b/c of inactivity" and that "the reason why was I didn't have a modem that was necessary for system use". This was February 12. So I paid for a system from July installation ($30/month) thru then for a system that "couldn't" work. the xfinity agent I spoke to was really nice but could only give me 1 month back of credit. Are you serious? For an issue that I never received a modem (which the system "says" I did but as noted, the installers didn't install one). As soon as I am off my contract I will NOT use xfinity home security services again - coming back to ADT!
