I have read some posts with similar issues, my outside camera keeps disconnecting, according to the touchscreen I have good connectivity, however, it keeps disconnecting, meanwhile, my inside camera works great 24/7.
i have a Netgear R700 wich extendeds excellent signal throughout the house. It appears to me that it has to do with the camera not been powered correctly, the extension from where the camera is being powered is at least 25 feet long.
My understanding is that a wifi extender won't solve the problem and will cut my band in half and anyway I have good connectivity.
The other option would be the powerline extender but I don't know if it will cut my band in half also.
Other than bringing the camera inside,
what are my other options?
