Can't even begin to explain how frustrated I am. We had the Home service installed 3 days ago and since then, the air conditioner will no longer work. We had to fight just to get a tech from this ridiculous company that Comcast contracts with to come back out to try and fix it. The new tech had no idea. We also find out that the original tech was not even trained to do thermostats and just winged it. We tested the heat, that also does not work. The only thing that works is the fan setting. Three days of sleeping in a 90 degree house is absurd. Comcast said they were putting it on an "emergency list", still no response. Thank God ambulances don't use this same philosophy with an emergency or there would be a lot more deaths. I called and talked to a great rep who said she would help and that she would call me back at 3:30.....no call. I am pretty handy as I used to do a lot of pre-wiring for homes back in the day and am going to try and fix this myself. Does anybody have any good places to point me to to start??
