Was your first router a Netgear and the second an XB3?

Does it require a C wire?
No, it does not require a C wire... it's powered by four AA batteries if you don't have one.
Bought a new TV, different brand from old one. How do I program the Xfinity remote to turn on/off the new TV and control audio volume? New TV is Sony.

Exactly!
Yes - I used to have the Netgear security router too, but got switched over to the XB3 when a couple of my cameras started having communication issues (my neighborhood is full of WiFi devices!)
I have a much better connection to the cameras now. But if you still have the older Netgear and things are working well... if it ain't broke...
I would like to have a different sound at my garage door on Sunday and Monday only. and then set a different sound the other 5 days of the week.
What woukd be really sweet, is to have the sound on Sunday and Monday, and no sound the other 5days of the week with out me having to touch the touch pad. (I think that is what it is called. The thing that looks like a tablet)
I don't want the extra gear and I have cameras too. How to configure the XB3?

Do you have the gear(wires) to re-pair the cameras? You will need it because when you switch the cameras will not work until they are re-paired to the XB3.
You should be able to do this...
The first thing you'll want to do is go to the Touchscreen and set the default sound for the Garage Door sensor to "silenced." To do this, go to the Tocuchscreen settings (enter your master code) and then click on Touchscreen --> Sound --> Hometone Configuration. Once there, click the "Silence" button next to your Garage Door sensor. You can then return to the home screen.
Now, using a PC or Laptop, go to http://home.xfinity.com and log in with your XFINITY Home username (usually the primary Comcast username). Click on the Automation tab at the top, and then the Create New Rule button.
From here, select Touchscreen --> Default Panel --> To Play (select sound) ---> When Door is Opened or Closed --> (select Open/Closed from the Drop-down & click your Garage Door) --> Always or Between Time --> (if you selected between time, choose timeframe) --> checkmark next to Sunday and Monday --> Click Save.
You could do multiple rules too... for example one rule could cause the Touchscreen to play a certain sound when the door is opened, and another when it is closed... or you could do separate rules for Sunday and Monday to play different sounds or at different times of the day.
Right now I just want to remove the netgear.
Thanks bab264.
Will do this tomorrow and post my results.
It is time for me to hit the heating pad for a bad back.
