Looking for best cable modem router to purchase with fast speed and supports voice/telephone service. Thought about NetGear Night Hawk but it doesn't support voice. Any ideas?

Just recently got Xfinity home. With this mode, can I leave the premises through the door that has the sensor that is set for front door without tripping the alarm and then when i come back I have to enter the code? Or do I have to disarm the system altogether when I want to leave temporarily and come back (like going out for the mail)?

In the middle of a tv program I received an HDCP error message and lost the picture on my tv and the sound goes in and out. My cat was behind the tv. If the cat chewed into the HDMI cable, would that cause me to no longer have a picture and intermittent sound?

Actually, I don't believe equipment from a previous system has to be zigbee compatible... Comcast installs a takeover panel that interfaces with the old system, and then that panel communicates via zigbee at that point.

Yes, you would want to first disarm the system before opening the front door and then re-arm after coming back from getting the mail.

 

The other option would be to bypass the front door sensor so it doesn't trip the alarm when opened... but that would mean the alarm wouldn't trip if the door opened by an intruder as well.

I connected them to the Xfinity home touchscreen. After I inserted  in the bulbs and turned on the lights they started dimming to show they were ready to pair. I used the touchscreen at that point; settings, enter your code, devices. I saw a message that said searching then tapped next when they showed up. They paired and I renamed them. Afterward you can log into Xfinity home and create rules to turn them on and off at certain times. You can also have them turn on when your alarm goes off. I did this a while ago, so sorry if I've skipped a step but it's not hard to pair them. I bought them on Amazon which described them as a 22 year bulb. When all was done they showed up on our iPhones and iPads. We can also turn them on and off from the apps as well.

Home Security wireless camera failure hacked and taken off line immediately after installation!

I wanted to cancel and change the billing from my account but the new quoted price for tv and internet was more expensive than our existing bundle package which includes xfinity home security which failed immediately after the installation and has been hacked and the wireless camera taken off line. Further please forward this to corporate on my behalf or we will be contacting corporate to resolve this issue and cancel and remove your faulty security equipment and reverse the charges for the installation as well as give us a reasonable double play bundle deal on our remaining services. Or we may be forced to initiate a class action lawsuit. 
 
This problem effects everybody using your insecure wireless products. I tried on two occasions to resolve this issue with no acceptable outcome. 
 
Please escalate this chat to the right team to assist me in dealing with this problem. 
 
I was defrauded by your sales team as well as your installer into believing that your wireless system was safe after warning them we have been targeted and harassed by a local hacker for quite some time and cannot have any wireless equipment. The installer completely misinformed me guaranteeing it was NSA safe. 
 
Please assist me in this manner.

Our TV is now useless as the box dosn't respond to rebooting anymore (unplugging from the wall) Dosn't come back fully. The internet seems unaffected.
