today the same issue: HVAC switched off at the time I set it up in the rules. After this over the night again lost connection and in the morning HVAC didn't switch on.

I had a discussion with phone support and they never heard of the problem. None of the resets, reboots, etc. had any effect on the issue.
When you say "they fixed it", who was "they" and what did they do? My thermostat and camera still report 3 hrs. ahead of now, but did reset on their own for DST (plus 3 hours) yesterday.

Comcast has done it remotely

Several months ago our fire alarm went off. I had a difficutl time diabling it. Now I realize it has been disabled ever since. How do I reactivate it and how do I disable it safely before the fire department arrives?

Go on to settings on your touchscreen and select touchscreen > sound configuation > Hometone confuration

The delay should be instant with the chimes. Try restarting the touchscreen by going through settings > advanced settings > restart touchscreen.
If it's still happening like that, call Comcast.

Call Comcast if you haven't and request to do an alarm test for the motion sensor. The motion sensor will blink red when it detects motion.
When you say it's not working, is there an error on the touchscreen on the top right hand corner?

Boy, I really hate this wireless thermostat. I got a message for a low battery on 3/6/15. Just a couple of days after changing the batteries. The 24v power is still working, I've verified it. The thermostat remote system was working; as I tested it using my laptop while I was there. I've left and now a week later, I cannot do any remote changes to the thermostat. All attempts to alter the temperature have failed. I get a message: ISSUE: Thermostat update request failed.
What a piece of junk. Comcast Xfinity, "are you listening".

I bought these last night. Same thing, shows as pairing, flashing and dimming. My unit says its up to date for firmware.

Motion sensor frequently stays "red "or "open".

don't worry, Comcast will release something when they can sell it for 3x the street value....like every other accessory they sell. For now, I've bought all my upgrades on Amazon and EBAY and saved 50-80%.
